La quattordicesima edizione del Concorso Internazionale “Enzimi di Pace – L’Albero dei Colori” si intitola: "GIOIA E PACE NEL MONDO, LA RIVOLUZIONE DEL SORRISO! "
Quest'anno il concorso compie 20 anni dal suo debutto, avvenuto nel lontano 1991. La prima edizione era dedicata agli Alberi che vivono con noi, nelle Città e nelle Campagne. L'iniziativa del 1991, che si chiamava "I nostri amici alberi", si svolse in collaborazione con lo storico quotidiano romano PAESE SERA, e si collegò alla legge italiana che prevede la messa a dimora di un albero per ogni bambino nato.
Sono passati due decenni e il Concorso è andato avanti, a volte con qualche breve interruzione... ma è proseguito con coerenza, e... il nostro Albero, l'Albero dei Colori, è cresciuto e ora regala a tutti/e fiori e frutti molto colorati e profumatissimi.
Per questa quattordicesima edizione, vogliamo collegarci a questa immagine di Gioia, per la costruzione di un Mondo migliore, in cui ci siano pieni Diritti, una Vita migliore e in Pace.
Il tema di quest'anno è: "GIOIA E PACE NEL MONDO, LA RIVOLUZIONE DEL SORRISO! perché la Gioia è un modo nonviolento di ribellarsi alle cose che non vanno, ma è anche un elemento che crea vita, rapporti, sviluppo, coesistenza, pace e amore.
Le sezioni del Concorso sono:
1) CORTO IN GIOIA (cortometraggi molto corti, di max un minuto)
2) CALENDARIO (illustrazioni per la realizzazione del “Calendario per la Pace 2012")

La Scuola di Pace ha realizzato una Missione ad Haiti che si è potuta attuare grazie al sostegno di alcune scuole italiane.
Dall'esito positivo della Missione abbiamo messo le basi per un nostro intervento continuativo nell'Isola Caraibica, in collaborazione con AUMOHD, un'associazione di Haitiani che si battono per i Diritti Umani ad Haiti e il sostegno alla popolazione.
Da allora stiamo contribuendo alla realizzazione di progetti di ricostruzione delle scuole crollate per il terremoto, aiuto alla scolarizzazione dei bambini, e aiuto alle mamme e i bambini che vivono nelle tendopoli d'emergenza, esposti alle inondazioni, al sole, agli uragani e di recente anche ad una epidemia di colera.

Carnival is perhaps the oldest festival that mankind has ever invented . Even primitive man used dress at a given time of year. But even now why we wear masks? Truly we can transform and become different from us?

Carnival is deeply felt and lived in the Caribbean and in particular Haiti.
E 'a carnival of the "body" and also is a carnival "spirit" which manifests itself in a ritual done by the playful elements of gesture, dance, music with traditional instruments produced very similar to vuvuzelas, the clothes are very colorful and often masks depicting totemic animals ( giraffes, tigers, lions, monkeys, zebras, etc.. ).

I n Italia invece il Carnevale è legato alle maschere della "Commedia dell'Arte" . Tra queste i personaggi di Arlecchino , Pantalone , Colombina , Pulcinella e altri.
Il più famoso tra i carnevali italiani è quello di Venezia con le sue bellissime maschere.

Dopo una breve introduzione al tema del "Carnevale nel Mondo" andremo a costruire insieme ai bambini le MASCHERE dei 2 carnevali, quello d'Italia e quello di Haiti, utilizzando i
cartamodelli appositamente realizzati .
Le maschere saranno ritagliate e poi colorate con ulteriori decorazioni libere. Poi faremo 2
buchetti e metteremo un elastico per poterle indossare.
Porteremo con noi un po' di vestiti colorati da bambini che saranno indossati, qualche altra
decorazione, la musica del Carnevale, e poi... tutta FESTA!

8 EDITION TO 2011 - THE CARNIVAL OF THE CHILDREN OF HAITI
Il Carnevale è forse la più antica festa che l’umanità abbia mai inventato . Già gli uomini primitivi usavano mascherarsi in un preciso periodo dell’anno. Ma come mai ancora adesso indossiamo le maschere? Davvero possiamo trasformarci e diventare altro da noi?
S i tratta di una festa che proviene dall'unione di più culture. L'unica festa condivisa da tutta l'umanità e che consente di scoprire cosa abbiamo in comune e celebrare ciò che ci rende diversi. Un nuovo modo di guardare il mondo, dentro e fuori di noi. Il Carnevale è l'arte di trasformare la vita.
Il “Piccolo carnevale armonico” è un progetto nato a Roma nel 2004, per cui nel 2005
è stato anche prodotto un film-documentario il cui soggetto è tratto dal racconto
“Storia immaginaria degli angeli Akim e Michele” scritto da Italo Cassa.
Il Carnevale è molto sentito e vissuto nei Caraibi e in particolare ad Haiti.
E' un carnevale del "corpo" ed è anche un carnevale dello "spirito" che si manifesta in un rituale ludico fatto dagli elementi della gestualità, la danza, la musica prodotta con strumenti tradizionali, gli abiti molto colorati e le maschere spesso raffiguranti animali totemici (giraffe, tigri, leoni, pinguini, uccelli, ecc.).
Il Piccolo Carnevale Armonico 2011 sarà il Carnevale dei bambini di Haiti attraverso la realizzazione di un gemellaggio tra il Carnevale in Italia e in altri paesi del Mondo, e il Carnevale dei bambini ad Haiti .
In Italia e dove possibile in altri paesi si sfilerà , e si terranno feste con le maschere, i ritmi e i colori del Carnevale di Haiti .
Ad Haiti si sfilerà con le maschere della tradizione carnevalesca d'Italia e di altri paesi del Mondo.
Al progetto sarà collegata la raccolta di fondi a favore dei progetti di scolarizzazione dei bambini di Haiti .
Le scuole interessate possono contattarci per aderire all'iniziativa e ricevere i materiali di comunicazione.
Per le scuole di Roma e Provincia realizzeremo spettacolini e laboratori direttamente negli istituti.

Il Carnevale è forse la più antica festa che l’umanità abbia mai inventato . Già gli uomini primitivi usavano mascherarsi in un preciso periodo dell’anno. Ma come mai ancora adesso indossiamo le maschere? Davvero possiamo trasformarci e diventare altro da noi?
S i tratta di una festa che proviene dall'unione di più culture. L'unica festa condivisa da tutta l'umanità e che consente di scoprire cosa abbiamo in comune e celebrare ciò che ci rende diversi. Un nuovo modo di guardare il mondo, dentro e fuori di noi. Il Carnevale è l'arte di trasformare la vita.
Il “Piccolo carnevale armonico” è un progetto nato a Roma nel 2004, per cui nel 2005
è stato anche prodotto un film-documentario il cui soggetto è tratto dal racconto
“Storia immaginaria degli angeli Akim e Michele” scritto da Italo Cassa.

More or less fifteen years ago the first series of Quaderni Viola published his fourth issue, and the last to close the door on the theme of political lesbian. The book was greeted with curiosity and interest, was widely disseminated and some important reviews, it was commented at length by Teresa de Lauretis in her book Persons eccentric (Feltrinelli 1999). We worked together for much of 1995 preparing the Quaderni Viola and workshop for lesbian, a small group that would later played an important role in the founding of ArciLesbica.
The first question we asked in evoking the old number was as follows: what has changed since 1995 when we debated passionately that the relationship between feminism and lesbian politics? You can answer that first of all, many things have changed in two opposite directions exactly with the end result of an apparent immobility.
There was above all a clear shift in feminism. For the first time in Italian history, a sweeping motion, like the one that showed violence against women in November 2007, was called "feminists and lesbians, openly acknowledging the existence within it a component of women who love women. There was then a change in the political scene on which he broke the Pride, which takes place every once in tens of thousands of people forced to take the political position and the press to break the silence. In addition, the time that fourth book of the old series, a television series like The L Word would have been unthinkable and there were no parliamentary openly gay, lesbian or trans.
Other phenomena rather go in the opposite direction. Italy is still one of the few countries in the world north-west where the movement has not achieved anything in terms of rights and action against homophobia, while lesbian, gay and trans are now much more exposed to the violence of yesterday homophobic.
Pride and Prejudice, Notebook Viola third of the new post-2000 series, try to take stock of the situation of lesbians in Italy, both politically and from the historical, theoretical and imaginary, without ambition wrong on providing the "line "the movement or to close a complex world into a comprehensive framework captiously, but also without fear of expressing an interpretation of reality and to draw a political perspective.
The editors who worked on Pride and Prejudice is composed of Lidia Cirillo, Fabiola Correale, Paola Gouache, Claudia Lopresti, Eva and Anna Muraro Mamin. There are also contributions by Paola Biondi, Laura Corradi, Daniela Danna, Rosanna Fiocchetto, MFLA Radio Red Wave and Daniela Santoro.
