Racconti dal mare … Laboratori di lettura animata, scrittura e disegno con Rodari, laboratori di costruzione di libri e scrittura poetica, ludici creativi, di danza, di videoanimazione e “clowndestinità” … Numeri, geometrie, origami, filastrocche, giochi, magie … Viaggi nella foresta Africana, fiabe Albanesi, racconti di vita dal Burkina Faso, spettacoli di animazione sulla ricchezza della diversità … Questo e quanto le parole non riescono a descrivere, hanno condiviso i ragazzi italiani, insieme agli ottanta ragazzi stranieri frequentanti le scuole della Città Bianca, ai richiedenti asilo di Restinco e alle delegazioni straniere provenienti dall’Albania e dall’Iraq curdo … uniti da un filo invisibile, ma indissolubile, ai ragazzi del Burkina Faso e ai bambini del coro di Gaza, che purtroppo non sono riusciti a superare le barriere burocratiche per l’accesso in Italia. E ad arricchire di nuove storie e nuovi colori la quotidianità di alcuni eletti Ostunesi, l’esperienza dell’ospitalità dei ragazzi delle delegazioni straniere nelle famiglie.

Un’attenzione speciale è stata riservata, quest’anno, anche agli adulti, ed in modo particolare ai docenti e agli educatori, che nel corso di tre convegni organizzati a San Vito dei Normanni, Mesagne e San Pancrazio Salentino, hanno focalizzato l’attenzione sullo stile educativo di Gianni Rodari.
